In May, Nomads had their old badminton flooring replaced with a new tournament-style rubber floor. The old court was a basic painted cement floor which had many cracks and needed to be replaced. The new flooring which is much softer and easier on the knees, has been a major success so far, with an increased turn out of regular members and guests as well.
This favorable response has led to an increase in activities and bar income. On August 27th, Nomads hosted a badminton tournament for it's members and their guests. - Eric Antoine
