A major contributing factor to the success of Nomad Sports Club is that members who enjoy a common interest in a selected sport have organized themselves into sections. A section consisting of the playing members elect their own section captain and any other necessary officers to not only organize and select representative teams, but also ensure adequate fixtures and opponents can be found. Sections run their own fund-raising events that allow them to subsidize an overseas tour to other clubs or competitions in the region. Not all sports activities have sections.
