LADIES
SOCCER
One of the newest sections to be formed and certainly the most enthusiastic
is the Ladies Soccer Section. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening,
from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. the ladies don their boots and go out
to battle. Mainly sticking to the six-a-side game, the ladies are
not only keeping fit, but are weekly gaining in skills.
The section organizes competitions to which other sides are invited
to anticipate. However, if there is a soccer competition for ladies
being played anywhere in Manila, one can bet that Nomads will have
if not just one, then two sides attend.
The ladies have also toured, albeit not yet overseas, to Baguio and
Bacalod City in order to take part in competitions. After their regular
practice it is time for socializing. They epitomize what Nomad Sports
Club is all about - healthy sporting activity and good company.
